The energies of the Equinox are said to be a magical time, where harmony falls on the planet and where we could embody an equal balance of dark and light.
You need darkness to see the light and you need the light to recognize the darkness.
Balancing the within& the without
The Equinox is about honoring both of these qualities that live within- your shadow and your divine light. It is about acknowledging that working with this duality is the journey of your soul here at Earth.
Have you ever stood in the middle of a see-saw (teeter-totter), standing with one foot on the left branch of the see-saw, and one on the right? Knowing that you hold the power of balance, movement or stillness in your body and your legs. If you intend your weight and energy through the left leg then that side of the see-saw moves toward the ground. If you intend your weight and energy through the right leg ( leg of action) then that side of the see-saw moves to the ground. If you centre your weight and your energy then you remain still, in balance. This is the place that we exist within during the three days of Equinox energy. With the current global situation, you can perceive the see-saw/teeter-totter as having one side that represents fear, and one side that represents courage. You are standing in the middle of this see-saw. There will be days and events that invite you to lean more heavily on the fear side. There will be days and events that invite you to lean more heavily on the courage side. And maybe, you can choose times when you stand in the place of stillness, feeling neither fear or courage, but a balance, a peace, a harmony, a joy. This is what I wish for us all.
Honour and celebrate this time of rebirthing on a personal, and profound level. If you feel inclined to do so then a simple exercise to honour the Vernal Equinox is to give yourself some time in stillness to meditate in connection with our Mother Earth🙏.
